Architecture is that great living creative spirit which from generation to generation, from age to age, proceeds, persists, creates, according to the nature of man, and his circumstances as they change. This spirit which consumes our practice is emphasized by our core beliefs.
We believe that each project must belong to its place and time, tread lightly on the environment and inspire its users – and we have consistently sought to articulate these core values in all our work. Our responsibility to our clients runs in tandem with our responsibility towards a sense of a shared collective and stewardship for the environment. Through our iterative design process the essential elements of a project are explored, articulated and defined. With each commission, we seek to push beyond conventional standards for sustainability, innovating high-performance approaches that align with each building program, site and resources.

PRINCIPAL/ FOUNDER
CHAD FIRMSTONE aia,ncarb
As of 2015, Chad founded the firm to take an innovative and collaborative approach to architecture. He views the highly specific set of requirements that guide design as an opportunity for rediscovery rather than a limit for potential, and he strives to develop clear conceptual frameworks through the process of understanding and communication. His belief that each team member contributes invaluable design insight underpins his mentoring and consensus-building skills.
Chad's commitment to enhancing the built environment through the canon of green design and sustainability is further expressed through his professional affiliations, including the AIA New York Chapter and Natural Resources Defense Council. Chad holds a Bachelor of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology and is currently a registered architect in the states of NY, NJ and Connecticut.

billie wyman
Billie Wyman joined C2B architects in 2015 with eighteen years experience as an Executive Assistant disciplined in construction management and architecture. Since C2B architects was founded she has been a dedicated and focused
Executive Assistant who excels at prioritizing, completing multiple tasks simultaneously and following through to achieve project goals. She has the ability to answer a high volume of calls while handling in person
inquiries from clients and colleagues. She is flexible, hardworking with a strong drive and dedication to carry out C2B architects primary mission.
PROJECT ARCHITECT
RODRIGO DE DIOS MULET
Rodrigo De Dios Mulet is a hands-on project architect. He has a strong appreciation of materials and techniques, skills that inform his restoration and renovation work. He has worked on diverse renovation and new construction projects ranging from historic quality buildings to contemporary highly sustainable facilities. Rodrigo has particular interest and knowledge of green architecture and design.
Rodrigo holds an M.Arch from New York City College and a BS in Urban Regional Planning from Cornell University. Rodrigo joined C2B Architecture in 2015.
